Black Bear Coffee Shop in Hendersonville NC is a staple coffee shop located in downtown Hendersonville. Although there are many other coffee shops, this is one of the fan favorites and mine personally. Today I tried the Butter Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, and the famous Bretzels featuring Underground Bakery Co. also located in Hendersonville NC. My favorite out of all of these was the Bretzel. It is a pretzel made with sourdough which is where it gets its name from. The Chocolate Croissant was sweet and was fluffy with a nice chocolate filling. The normal Croissant was very flaky and had a nice buttery taste to it. The drinks we tried today were the Mocha Frappe and the Iced Vanilla latte. The mocha frappe isn’t too sweet and has a slight bitter taste to it. This drink also has a slight coffee taste but it’s not too overpowering, if you aren’t a big fan of coffee I would recommend this. Onto the Iced Vanilla Latte, it isn’t too sweet and it has a strong coffee flavor. If you are looking for something sweet or something with a less bitter taste the coffee might not be the choice for you. If any of these options weren’t your favorite they have many different options. From tea to smoothies and from cookies to sandwiches. There is such a wide variety of options for everybody to pick from.
