West Henderson’s volleyball team beat Asheville High on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in a conference match. West won the first set 25-13, the second set 25-15 and took the third set 25-15. West JV volleyball team also beat Asheville in two sets, 2-0.
“It was a good win for us,” coach Tiffany Lowrance said. “We all had a very big group effort. Everybody got good playing time tonight. It was a good game and we’re looking forward to the next one.”
Senior Kinsley Morgan had 8 kills and 1 ace, Junior America Anderson had 6 kills and 5 blocks and Junior Malia Moore had 12 assists, 1 kill and 4 aces.
The Lady Falcons are currently 7-1 on the season and tied for first in the conference. The team has another home game on Thursday, Sept. 19, against North Buncombe.
