On March 25, your Lady Falcons dominated against the A.C. Reynolds Rocket softball team, with the four-inning game ending in a 19-0 score. Offensively, Senior Sarah Walker rallied in two runs through her third home run of the season, while Junior Marley Orr allowed the game to reach new heights when she soared a grand slam over the center field fence. Defensively, the team was highly focused and executed with their performance. Throughout the game, I worked extremely hard to remain focused, which ultimately led me to pitch my first shutout of my senior season. My teammates were able to help me achieve this accomplishment by putting all of their effort into every play and supporting me consistently on and off the field. The team currently holds a 10-1 record. I believe that the team has been able to thrive this season because we focus on holding one another accountable, while also treating each other with respect. This year we have worked extremely hard to build strong relationships and create an uplifting environment. We have learned how to work well together and spend time with one another on and off the field. The Lady Falcons will take this mindset to face the Tuscola Mountaineers on April 1 at 6:30.
