On Friday, Dec. 7, a car crash in front of the entrance to West caused major backups on both sides of Highway 191. Nine out of 75 teachers were late to school, and many teachers had only a few students present when the bell rang at 7:55 a.m.
“It’s 10 minutes after school has started, and I only have three out of 21 of my students,” English teacher Matthew Parent said. “We’re practicing presentations, and the six people who are supposed to present are not here yet, so (traffic) has greatly affected my class today.”
