The homecoming football game has been scheduled for Oct. 16 against Brevard. During halftime the homecoming queen will be crowned. The homecoming dance, which is semiformal, will be Saturday, Oct. 17.
Representing the freshman class on the homecoming court are Caroline Corn, escorted by Jacob Burnette and Shylee Stocks, escorted by Kye Andress. Representing the sophomores are Grace Gash, escorted by Mason Lyda, and Jessica Norris, escorted by Junior Mintz. The junior class is represented by Lindsey Crawford, escorted by Will Lindsey, Sierra Jones, escorted by Logan Wyant, and Audrey Reed, escorted by Andrew Johnson.
The vote for the homecoming queen will take place on the morning of the game. The senior class is represented by Leah Dorn, escorted by Robert Hinchliffe, Julianna Goode, escorted by Dylan Buchanan, Sydney Hogan, escorted by Austin Hall, Kizhanai Phiffer, escorted by Nathan Bryans and Vivian Rodriguez escorted by Nathan Greer.
Spirit week will take place during the week before the homecoming game. Monday will be Old vs. Young Day, Tuesday will be Me vs. You day, Wednesday will be Hillbilly vs. Hippy Day, Thursday will be Athlete vs Mathlete Day and Friday will be Falcon Friday.
There will be an assembly on Oct. 13 to introduce the homecoming court and their escorts. The class homecoming skit competition will be held during a pep rally on Friday during fourth period.
