On Saturday May 16, members of the concert band traveled to Chicago for the annual band trip. In Chicago, the band performed at the Field Museum. The band’s performance included Flourish for Wind Band by Ralph Vaughn Williams, First Suite in E Flat by Gustav Holst, Dusk by Steven Bryant, Jurassic Park by John Williams and Block M by Jerry Bilik. The band also toured around Chicago, making stops at the Willis Tower Skydeck, Giordano’s Pizza, The Field Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, Cloud Gate, The Museum of Science and Industry, the “Magnificent Mile”, Water Tower Place, Lake Michigan, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and U.S. Cellular Arena.
